12 Monthly Reviews and 48 Weekly Tracking Templates
In 2022, I started writing online thanks to a course called Ship 30 for 30. (Check it out here.)
And through writing I rediscovered regular journaling thanks to the X posts of personal journal habits by Dickie and Cole, the founders of Ship 30. Until then, I had dismissed journaling as a high leverage habit and did it infrequently. Once I added daily journaling to my writing routine, I felt like a lost piece of myself was returned.
The piece that dreams for more and is connected to the present.
At the end of 2022, I started seeing many posts regarding end of year reviews - a new concept for me at the time. I started gathering different recommendations and templates to build my own, until bam! Dickie and Cole released The Yearly Review.
It had everything I was going to include and more - and it is free.
My choice was made and I began my first yearly review process. It was difficult, time consuming, and the results were surprising. I did much more in one year than I had given myself credit for - until I looked at things objectively. This insight was a springboard into 2023 where by May I had traveled to 3 new countries and had secured a new career with a European company in the States.
To keep track of 2023 I made this Notion Template.
After 12 months of use, I've found it to be effective.
I hope it proves to be so for you as well.
